A neo-Renaissance French chateau standing proudly over the Boulogne valley
Standing proudly above the Boulogne valley, Château de la Touche is a majestic 19th-century building, raised on a strategic mound at the gates of Rocheservière.
In the 1890s, on the site of the old manor, Pierre Moreau, a Nantes-based merchant, commissioned an imposing neo-Renaissance chateau, defined by its two great round towers typical of the era's romantic architecture.
The estate passed through several owners until the second half of the 20th century.
Today the chateau is being reborn under its new owners, who are committed to passing on this heritage by hosting private and professional events — only 30 minutes from Nantes.
At the gates of Rocheservière, in the Vendée bocage.
