Can we hold a civil ceremony on site?
The legal civil ceremony in France must take place at the town hall — Rocheservière's town hall is five minutes away. We host the symbolic / outdoor ceremony on the esplanade or in the salons.
How many guests can you host?
Up to 120 guests for a seated dinner under the marquee, 150 for a cocktail-style reception.
Can we choose our caterer?
Yes. The catering kitchen is available for your caterer. We can recommend trusted local partners if needed.
How long is the privatisation?
Two nights from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon for weddings. Extended weekends are possible in peak season.
Do you offer a next-day brunch?
Yes — Sunday brunch can be arranged on site, with your caterer or one of our partners.
How far in advance should we book?
Weekends from May to September typically book up 12 to 18 months in advance. We're flexible for other times of the year.
Can our international guests easily reach the venue?
Yes. Nantes-Atlantique international airport is 30 minutes from the chateau. From Paris, the TGV reaches Nantes in 2h15, then 30 minutes by car. We can recommend transport partners for shuttle services on the day.
Corporate
What's the capacity for a corporate event?
Up to 50 people in the meeting rooms at the chateau, and up to 30 people accommodated on site. The marquee extends capacity for evening receptions and cocktails.
What equipment is provided?
High-speed wifi, screens, flipcharts, power outlets for each participant. Additional equipment (sound system, projector, microphone) can be rented on request.
Can we run team-building activities on site?
Yes. The 5-hectare park and the forest are perfect for outdoor activities. We work with local partners for activities, tastings and workshops.
Can we book a day off-site without accommodation?
Of course — we offer full-day and half-day packages with a business lunch included.
Logistics
How many beds are available on site?
30 beds in total: 3 suites at the chateau (8 guests), a full apartment on the top floor (14 guests) and the gardener's cottage (8 guests).
Is there parking?
Yes, private parking in a meadow to the left of the estate (5 minutes' walk), with plenty of capacity for your guests.
How do we get to the chateau?
30 min from Nantes, 25 min from La Roche-sur-Yon, 15 min from Montaigu. Nantes-Atlantique airport is 30 min away, Nantes train station 35 min. From Paris, TGV to Nantes in 2h15.
Is final cleaning included?
Yes, final cleaning is included in the privatisation.
Practical
Can we visit the chateau?
Yes, by appointment to plan a wedding or a corporate event. Contact us to set a date — the visit takes about an hour and covers everything: salons, esplanade, suites, park. Visits in English are available.
What are the booking terms?
A 40% deposit on signature of the contract secures your booking. The balance is paid according to an agreed schedule, with final payment before the event.
Do you recommend cancellation insurance?
We strongly recommend taking out cancellation insurance with your insurer or via an event-specific broker.
Can we bring our pets?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the estate.
Is the chateau accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
The esplanade and the marquee are accessible. Access to the chateau and the upper floors is via staircase.
Do you speak English?
Yes — Océanne and Yoan welcome international guests and reply to enquiries in English. The full visit, planning conversations and on-the-day coordination can all be conducted in English.
